giveaway terms and conditions

 

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the giveaway entitled ‘Win a signed copy of The Countdown Killer by Sam Holland!’ Entry is via the link on Sam Holland’s newsletter. All required fields must be completed and submitted for the entry to count. There are two copies to giveaway.

  2. The giveaway opens at 9am on Monday 16th June, and closes at midday on Monday 30th June.

  3. Only one submission per Entrant is allowed.

  4. The ‘Entrant’ is the person completing the submission, whose email address is provided.

  5. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. The giveaway is open worldwide. This giveaway is not open to employees or contractors of HarperCollins, Canelo Publishing or Sam Holland, their immediate families, nor to any other person connected with the above.

  6. There will be 2 winners, who will both win a paperback copy of The Countdown Killer. This has no equivalent monetary value.

  7. Sam Holland reserves the right to amend the specification of the giveaway or offer an alternative of equivalent status. No cash alternative will be offered. The giveaway is non-transferable.

  8. Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. Sam Holland’s decision on all matters is final.

  9. A random draw of all valid entries will take place within six working days after the closing date above to select the winner. The winner will be notified by the email address provided on the entry and MUST respond by midnight within seven days of the date of contact with their postal address. If a selected winner does not meet all of the entry conditions or refuses the prize, another entrant will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries within a reasonable timeframe.

  10. In exceptional circumstances Sam may be required to terminate, amend or withdraw this promotion and/or these terms and conditions.

  11. Entry to the giveaway is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are governed exclusively by English Law and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. By entering this giveaway you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.

  12. Sam will make the winner’s surname and country of residence available on request to the following email address samhollandbooks@gmail.com, stating the request in the subject line. (Such request must be received within 10 weeks of the prize draw closing date). If an Entrant does not want their surname and country of residence to be made available in this way, please let us know by emailing samhollandbooks@gmail.com.

  13. The contact details you provide upon entry to the giveaway will be used by Sam Holland to notify winners or to check eligibility requirements have been met, and will not be shared with other companies, without exception. Sam will only use your email address and other personal information in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (including any amended, equivalent or subsequent legislation). All data related to this giveaway will be deleted within six months of successful completion of the giveaway.
