Hello Harrogate! THE crime fiction event of the year and it’s so good to be back in the tent!
The tea may be weak but the book certainly wasn’t! The lead in this, Izzy, might be the most terrifying character I have read in a long time. Manipulative, charming and downright evil, this was a chilling and accurate depiction of a psychopath.
You can’t go wrong with a bit of Emily Henry! I’ve adored all her other books without fail and while I wasn’t particularly fussed about Margaret’s story I was caught up in Hayden and Alice’s relationship from the start.
